Recreational Paddling

Recreational paddling summer schedule: Tuesday and Thursday boats in the water at 5:30pm.

If you have not paddled before or if you’re just visiting, you can try a weekday practice session for $20/practice or $40/month donation.
Before getting into a canoe you need to fill out the Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association (HCRA) insurance waiver, upon arrival at the site.
If you are under 18, then you must have a parent or guardian sign the form as well. While there is no upper age limit, you must be at least 9 years old to paddle with us.
Paddles are available to use, we can help you find one that will work for you.
We’ll provide some coaching and guidance for you as a recreational paddler, and expect you to work hard to learn and improve. You will also be able to keep paddling with us during the off-season from November through February.
Note that the minimum age for rec paddling is 12.
